  • They flew into Melbourne last weekend to play with the Private Function crew at a special Aus. Vs NZ night, and now some of New Zealand's finest DJs are making a second weekend of it in Melbourne. Kiwi dance fans and prog and house lovers should mobilise and catch Dannyboy and Callam Mitchell at their additional gigs on the weekend. Friday 2 July, Dannyboy takes over the piano as the special guest of Weird Gear at Honkytonks. He'll be mixing it up there alongside Honkytonks resident Kiwi, Mahi, and just your regular old aussieboy Boogs. Entry is $10. Saturday 3 July, it's time for the monthly night Tuned which is devoted to a house-prog-breaks mash up kick back dance up a storm party. Callam and Dannyboy will be bringing home in a mad fashion from 2 to 5 am. Kick starting the night will be EQ's Tom Pandzic with Benzai from 10pm, with funky breaks inbetween thanks to Bobby Raver. Tuned takes place at Tilt (opposite QV on Russell St) and entry is FREE! Sunday 4 July, Cue at Club Evolution ask Callam Mitchell over to their progressive themed night for an encore set. He'll be playing alongside residents Sean Quinn, Sam Fraser and Stu Bransbury. Kick off is at 10pm and entry is $5 unless you get on the guestlist [email protected] before 5pm on Sunday, in which case you'll be spending that $5 on a beer! Finish your aussie sojourn with a big bang of a weekend fellas!
