Birmingham’s Perry Park will come alive later this month at the One Big Weekend event over September 18 and 19 with a huge line-up of DJ’s and bands. The Radio One event will be broadcast over the whole weekend as the artists take to the stage. Dance acts will take the focus on Saturday, whilst bands will feature on Sunday.
This FREE event will see Tiesto fresh from his Olympic opening ceremony performance join Deep Dish, Fatboy Slim, Darren Emerson, Groove Armadaand Judge Jules on the stage as part of the huge midlands party.
Tickets for the Saturday Dance Day will be given away on Saturday 11 September, whilst the bands tickets can be picked up on Sunday the 12th. 12,000 tickets are available for each day and the box office is located at Millennium Point in Birmingham. To make sure it's fair, there will be a limit of two tickets per person. The box office will open at 12midday. For more info on the whole event check the BBC Radio 1 website.
