Rumours have been doing the rounds and information slowly trickling out about a Jeff Mills appearance in Melbourne. Hardware Corp. have now got it sorted and can reveal all. Jeff Mills (USA), the co-founder of the seminal Detroit outfit Underground Resistance, will return to play Melbourne for the first time in 2 years on Friday 19 November.
For this event they have chosen the Metro, Bourke St, with its 3 areas, multi-level capable viewing and it’s wide main-room stage. Jeff will perform a frenzy of Detroit Techno, European tech-house and that signature tribal sound with visuals on massive screens, and utilising 3 decks and his TR-909 with the Metro concert sound system.
You can get in quick and save cash with Hardware's comittment to affordable events and early bird tickets (limited to 500) for $35+bf each from www.hardwarecorp.com.au. You can also get some from Ticketek, 3e Concepts, Central Station, Inacoma and Ministry of Style. These tickets go on sale now until November 1st or sold out. Normal tickets will be $42+bf from the usual outlets and Ticketek (132 849).
