The AgentMad crew have been busy, planning events to fill the upcoming silly season with lots of great music! They've just announced the lineup for the 33&1/3 Breakbeat BBQ on Saturday 1 January 2005 at the Esplanade Hotel, St Kilda. Once again they'll be taking over the entire complex and putting on a range of styles from breaks to drum'n'bass to hip hop, soul jazz and everything in between.
Playing in the main area will be Fingerlickin' heroes The Plump Dj's, Mob label boss and Melbourne favourite Tayo and winner of the 2004 Break beat awards for best single B.L.I.M. In the Gershwin Room the speakers will be heaving with the sounds of the world's #1 drum'n'bass DJ Andy C, and Bristols' Full Cycle duo Krust and Die.
The event will kick off from 11am and run well into the night. Cheap n Nasty tickets go on sale Friday 5th November, and are limited to 400. They will cost you $45 through Ticketmaster7, Central Station, Polyester Records and DMC. Round up for crew for NYD!
