  • Crobar New York’s line-up of residents is filling up quite rapidly these days as one of Miami’s hottest duos, Murk AKA Ralph Falcon and Oscar G., are set to take the monthly reigns this Friday January 21, and for every third Friday of the month from now on. The pair stormed onto the international circuit in 1996 with their summer stormer, “Fired Up” released under their Funky Green Dogs alias. However, their successes paled in comparison to their chart-topping “Dark Beat,” which was played almost everywhere, by almost everyone, in the world! A punter could not enter a club or buy a compilation CD in 2002 without hearing their “low end frequency!” Not only do they work well together, they also have accomplished a lot as individuals. Ralph Falcon is already resident at Crobar Miami, but is looking forward to bringing his hot sound up North into frigid Gotham. “Following the success of my Miami residency with Crobar, I am honored to be asked to continue this in New York - a city which has always been as source of inspiration to me and Oscar.” Additionally, Oscar G. is known for his residency at Space in Miami where he can often be found doing his extended sets in the main room and later in the morning on the roof terrace. "Ralph and I have been looking for a home in New York for some time now and we can’t think of a better place than Crobar. We hope to build a special monthly event where we can expose New Yorkers to the hot and sexy Miami vibe." Given their past accomplishments, it is a safe bet that they will do just that!
