  • TiestoTiesto amazed many of us last year by headlining parties outside of the usual club environments in places such as Central Park in New York and of course his huge gig at the Athens Olympics opening ceremony. Continuing in that theme this year Tiesto has been called in to launch the new ‘Space Mountain : Mission 2’ ride at the Disneyland Resort in Paris. The new ride which promises to “ send exploronauts to the farthest reaches of space, to go where no one has gone before and discover the mysteries at the edge of the universe” opens on April 9. The Tiësto Space Mountain : Mission 2 Concert will take over the park on April 16th and will include him performing a re-mix of the Space Mountain : Mission 2 soundtrack. After Disneyland Park closes its doors for regular guests, it will re-open especially for Tiësto fans from all over Europe. The concert will get under way with a set from Bob Sinclar. Then, from an especially designed stage at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle, Tiësto will play for no less than 3 hours. The night will include special effects, lasers, lights, fireworks and guest performances. There is a specific website set up for the event with prices starting at € 119 per person, including 2-day hopper tickets to Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park and a one night stay including continental breakfast in a Disney hotel.
