It has to be said that there has never been a local breakbeat party with a lineup as huge and varied as that put together for the forthcoming Melbourne Breaks Unite party on Saturday 26 March at Brown Alley. The idea of the event is to bring together DJs from all the different breakbeat crews in town. The lineup features representatives of 10 breakbeat crews playing over three rooms on one night! Crews being represented are: Beats Working, Gimme A Break, Fractured, Relax, Bamboozled, Break Rock City, Fathom, Dark Beat, Kinetik, Broken Home and Just Rite (with the addition of MC Wasp). There will also be commemorative t-shirts of the event on sale on the night. If you love your breaks then get along for a HUGE night. Entry is $10 on the door.
