Mischief returns on the Anzac weekend on Friday 22 April with something of a French experience in store and some live music! The event will be headlined by two of the most current, and most unique house artists around, Super Discount and Damian Lazarus.
Super Discount is a project of Etienne de Crecy and Phillipe Zdar from Cassius, which has been hugely influential in the development of the French house sound. Now Etienne presents Super Discount 2 Live with esteemed producer Alex Gopher and Julien Delfaud. Their sound is a cross-pollination of electro, techno and house with storming instrumentals, relentless Moroder basslines and ultra funky bleeps.
As head of A&R for City Rockers Damian Lazarus signed the ground-breaking tracks ‘Fly With Me’, ‘Silver Screen Shower Scene’ and ‘Sunglasses At Night’, mixed the acclaimed ‘Rebel Futurism’ albums, and went on to launch his own Crosstown Rebels label. As a DJ he delivers a fresh and unique style best described as dirty and deep electro house, designed for lovers of late night madness and edgy twisted beats. He'll bring sound of the London underground to the event.
