The Freerange Records label will release their first album taster from recent signing Robert Strauss. Canadian Strauss, who after 10 years in the scene has recently gained notoriety through productions with Slum Village's Baatin and dropping 12"s on Osunlade's Yoruba label. Known as a top drawr nu-jazz artist his sound incorporates breaks, soul and a wicked element of funk.
Freerange will release a series of three 12" singles (of which 'Spinning Inside Your Love' is the first) to precede the album with remixes from the likes of DJ Spinna, Osunlade, Jimpster and Middlefield.
