- The 1st Annual Bijou Breaks Breakthru DJ Competition is now live and has began its search for fresh Djing talent throughout the world.
The 1st Annual Bijou Breaks Breakthru DJ Competition is now live and has began its search for fresh Djing talent throughout the world. Based in Southern California, Bijou Breaks has built a popular following as a top broken beat destination online and with a consitent focus on helping breakthrough talent it is fitting that this compeition will focus on hot up and comers.
The concept it simple: DJs create a mix, record it and submit it to a panel of judges for review. The contest runs May 1st thru June 30th with the winners being announced July 31st. After the winners are announced, their mixes are made available on the site. The incentives are impressive:
