  • Tribal Gathering's recent unlucky patch has continued with its massive Tribal Gathering Warehouse 2005 The Acid House Party on August 27th and 28th no longer taking place at the original venue but instead has moved back to Sankeys Soap. The difficult decision was taken after the city council informed them that their license application for both days would not eventually be accepted.
"Flyposting has been an increasingly tender issue between promoters and the council, and it was the erection of some large poster boards on roadsides just outside the city centre, which caused the council to take this action against us. We are being made an example of here, and have to take it on the chin, but are confident that this wont ruin anyone’s enjoyment of the weekend, " says Tribal.
The Sunday event featuring Sasha, John Digweed, James Zabiela, Infusion and more, which now runs from 5pm till 5am, is completely sold out. However there are still a few tickets for the Saturday gig with Carl Cox, Mylo, Francois K. and a host of others. People requiring additional information or a wanting refund for their original tickets should not hesitate to get in contact with them. Thumbs up to the guys over at Tribal Gathering for making the decision to still run with the event despite the economic impact.
