  • Kevin Bazell, known more popularly in dance circles as Kazell, has infected the American club scene with his brand of tough, funky and soulful grooves. His latest offering will stretch his growing reputation even further a field with many of the worlds top progressive jocks already picking up and thrashing out this d-floor groover ‘Venice Dawn’ by by Hiratzka & Kazell feat Shirli McAllen. Originall a Manchester (UK) native he moved to the US in 1991 and first gained notoriety in Atlanta as a favorite local resident at Liquid Groove. Kazell then relocated to Los Angeles in 1999. Kazell quickly established himself with residencies at the largest events in the West Coast, the legendary Liquified events and LA’s mega-club Spundae. His recent collaborations with production partner Mike Hiratzka has seen him gain plaudits around the world and ‘Venice Dawn’ looks set to head the same way with support from a wide variety of artists including Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, Jerry Bonham, Osamu M to name a few. ‘Venice Dawn is out now through one of the hottest labels around Desyn Masiello’s Alternative Route Recordings.
