Chromatics has put out two projects this week.
Today the band shared a new single, "TOY," the follow-up to their release of an extended version of their 2019 LP, Closer To Grey, earlier this week. Comprising 47 tracks, the deluxe album includes alternate versions, remixes and instrumentals, as well as some new original tracks. Both the single and the extended album have arrived via Italians Do It Better.
About the single, Chromatics lead vocalist Ruth Radelet says, "It's a song about trying to forget someone you're still in love with even though they treat you like an object. I'm not your toy."
Chromatics is a Portland-based synth-pop band composed of Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller, Nat Walker and Johnny Jewel. Their recent catalog includes 2019's Closer To Grey LP, the 2018 album Nite and the Cherry LP, released in 2014. All three records were released on Italians Do It Better.
