- As a celebration of their 10th anniversary Aquasky, are giving you the opportunity to remix their recent collaboration with Phil Hartnoll.
As a celebration of their 10th anniversary and to promote their upcoming compilation album Aquasky, in conjunction with Passenger, Addict Clothing and Breaks FM are giving you the opportunity to remix their recent collaboration with the mighty Phil Hartnoll from Orbital (under his Long Range alter-ego); 'Crosswire'. They will offer samples for download and to celebrate their 10 years of twisting up beats from hip hop through to drum and bass, are encouraging mixes from any genre to be submitted. The winning mix will receive the following:
Aquasky Remix Competition
1: The winning mix will be released on Passenger.
2: The winner will be invited into the Aquasky studio to mix their track down in the company of the boys themselves (stun guns and pepper spray will be provided of course).
3: A record bag and two T-shirts (Girls and Boys option) supplied by Addict Clothing Company.
4: Breaks FM prize: 1 year membership to BreaksFM platinum - platinum BFM members have access to all show archives in 128k mp3 format, digitally remastered and set up for CD burning (cut into 1 hour blocks).
The closing date will be January 31st 2006 with the winner will be announced on the Aquasky site and via email on the day their Teamplayers LP is launched (currently scheduled for February 27th 2006). Only entries that collect their samples via our website by filling out their correct details will be qualified to enter.
