  • Fractured have been going all out in the run up to Christmas with many OS guests. This weekend they host an all star Aussie lineup with Pendulum's El Hornet and Nubreed on Friday 9 December at Brown Alley, Melbourne CBD. Hailing originally from Perth, Pendulum have become Australia's biggest drum'n'bass export. The group have a string of accolades under their belt, having won awards for "Best Producers", "Best Newcomer Producers" and "Best Single" in 2004 as well as recently collaborating with The Prodigy. Considered the "DJ" of the group, El Hornet, returns once again to Melbourne ensuring another night out of the most upfront tunes doing the circuit at the moment. He has recently completed a hectic tour worldwide promoting their latest album "Hold Your Colour" which has received rave reviews from all the major players. The album has also received some good radio exposure with Triple J surprisingly making it their album of the week recently. Pendulum looks set to stamp themselves as the future of Drum & Bass internationally! Having recently returned from an Asia-Pacific tour which included shows in China, Melbourne born and bred three-piece live breaks outfit Nubreed return to Fractured. ‘NuBreed’ live shows are always excellent fun and musically sublime and this show promises to set new benchmarks. Undoubtedly it will feature glimpses of new tunes on their soon to be released Y4k album. Fractured go the double whammy of breaks and drum'n'bass this Friday. Get in there!
