- Numark are set to launch thier sexy HDX MP3 & CD turntable.
It was bound to happen. Ever since computer technology reached a realistic level for DJ companies to incorporate MP3s into their equipment builds, many of the worlds DJs have still only been able to play it through traditional vinyl players, then CD turntables, and now with the computer itself. Yet, for those who still covet the “feel” and traditional form of playing their music in vinyl and CD turntables, yet want the freedom of MP3’s they have another option as Numark is set to release the companies and industry’s first hardrive based turntable, the HDX.
Built around the same design as their TTX and CDX, the HDX has an onboard hardrive, USB 2.0 ports, and an 8x CD reader. Removable 80GB drive and Numark says the turntable will support MP3, WMA, and WAV media formats.
