  • Together at Turnmills continues its success story next weekend with another night of themed madness and sounds provided by a wide variety of DJs and live acts. After last months “Hat Brigade” saw punters dancing with TVs and disco balls on their heads, this month will see the Together troop in full “Some Mothers Do ave’ It” spirit with Turnmills asking fans to raid their mum’s wardrobe, and dress up in honour of Mother's day. Since moving from its one-off irregular formula to a consistent monthly party chief Together promoter Paul Stix couldn’t be happier with its start to 2006:
“Together has been such an unbelievable event to work on. The response from the punters who’ve made the Jan & Feb parties so darn fun has been quite overwhelming to say the least!! To see half of Turnmills wearing some form of hat last month was hilarious and the ‘Hat Brigade Grand Final’ itself hosted by The Cuban Brothers was possibly the funniest/best clubbing moment I’ve ever had at the club… it was THAT good! We’ve had a lot of fun programming the line-ups and trying to put the fun factor into everything that we can. From the flyers, to the monthly prizes you can win, to Rokit’s rockabilly room or the Extraordinary Dancing Bazaar with their hula hoop competitions and giant birthday cakes… the idea is that at Together parties you get to experience new sounds across 5 rooms of madness!!
Taking place on March 25th, the full line-up on the night includes another wickedly diverse lne-up: Some Mothers Do ‘ave It -Saturday 25th March The Kitchen: Greenskeepers (DJ Set) Oliver Koletski (UK Debut) Jon Carter The Liptrick (20:20 Vision) The Lounge: Luke Vibert (Warp/NinjaTune) Tim Exile (Live) – Album Launch Party Domino Records DJs The Vice DJ Syndicate The Bedroom: Hosted by The Midnight Ramble Programmed, Mixed & Compeered by John Kennedy (X-FM) Lethal Bizzle (Live) Metronomy (Live) Coburn (DJ Set) John Kennedy (DJ Set) The Loft: Hosted by The Extraordinary Dancing Bazaar Johnny Hiller (Lasermagnetic) Ian Robinson (Cabinboy Records) Tall Dan, The Lovely Nina & Emily (The Extraordinary Dancing Bazaar Allstars) The Dining Room: Hosted by Fishseeksbicycle Best Dressed Mum’ will win a top of the range Sewing Machine, 2nd Prize is a rather dashing Cutlery Set, whilst 3rd Prize is a £10 M&S Voucher.
