DJ Rolando will follow up 2003's 'Nite:Life 016' with a brand new selection of sounds for the West London house output, NRK.
Set across two CDs, 'From There to Here and Now' will encompass house, techno, dub and funk with tracks from Theo Parrish, Nick Holder, Ame, Trackheadz, Hipp-E, Kerri Chandler and a new unreleased track from Rolando himself.
Known to many for his rocking 'Knights of the Jaguar', CD 1 of the mix aims to capture a typical extended Rolando club set which includes Detroit infused techno and house. CD 2 is geared towards the lounge room with a more contemplative selection of tracks.
Released in early May, Rolando warms up for the release with a launch party at London's Ministry of Sound on April 22nd. As part of the Club Class night, Rolando will headlines with a set typical of the 'From There To Here And Now' compilation, with support from Paul Woolford, Nic Fanciulli and the Angels Of Love crew from Italy. Rolando will also pre-launch the album in Amsterdam next Saturday April 15th at Hotel Arena, alongside NRK man Nick Harris.
