We wet you’re appetite with the stages and promoters announcement last month, but we can now reveal the first round of artists that will be strutting their stuff at the 2006 TDK Cross Central event, this year on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August. Excitingly the likes of Alex Smoke, Booka Shade, King Creosote and Bloc Party are all confirmed starters.
The full list of eclectic artists playing at parties organized by Secretsundaze, Mulletover, The Lock Tavern, Adventures in The Beetroot Field, Vice Magazine, DeepDownandDirty and Druzzi’s Baltimore Rave Club! will include the following:

Absentee, Alex Smoke, Annie, Booka Shade, Black Daniel, Clor, Gang Gang Dance, Good Books, Kid Harpoon, King Creosote, Ladytron, Shychild, Spank Rock, Super Thriller, The Bug, The Egg, The Eighteenth Day Of May, The Research and Young Blood Brass Band, with Bloc Party, Andrew Weatherall and DJ Sasha.
Set on an old Victorian Goods’ Yard with an authentic London back drop, this event gives Kings Cross its very own diverse music village for one weekend in August. is an event that celebrates music, art and cinema on a truly London stage. Tickets are on sale at the moment with an early bird discount.
