  • Dominik Eulberg, one of the biggest up-and-comers in electronic music, will make his debut on American soil in New York on Thursday, aided and abetted by a live set from Ada. Eulberg will DJ and Ada will perform live at Cielo, New York, July 27, 2006. Dominik Eulberg hails from the wilds of Westerwald, smack bang midway between Cologne and Frankfurt. His music also slots neatly between the sound of the two cities - half Kompakt glide and half Frankfurt melody. 2004 long-player ‘Flora & Fauna’ [Traum] alerted ears that he was a DJ to watch and recent 12”s ‘Blueten Sind Dem Grossen Schillerfalter Fremd’ (aka the rave bunny video) and 'Harzer Roller' (with Gabriel Ananda) have cemented Eulberg’s reputation as a minimal producer for clubbers who want their hands in the air. Dominik is also up for two awards at this year’s German Dance Music Awards including Best Remix and Best Producer. Second in command will at Cielo will be Ada [Areal], who’ll be lugging her gear over from Cologne for a live set of deep pop techno. Ada’s first full-lengther ‘Blondie’ was hailed as a techno album that really worked, and her latest 12”s ‘I Love Asphalt’ and ‘Call that Tune’ are more proof that she knows her knobs from her faders. Supporting will be Robot Radio regulars Nick AC & Dennis Rodgers, who describe themselves in their press as “legends living in their own time.” But they sound like such ordinary nice guys on the radio! You can catch Dominik Eulberg and Ada (live) at Cielo, New York, July 27, 2006.
