  • Global deep house heads can finally get to hear what all the buzz is about when Jimpster's new album 'Amour' is released in September. 'Amour' is the first full-length album in four years for Jimpster aka Jamie Odell and Audiomontage. It was released on Odell's house imprint Freerange Records in the UK in June 2006 but will finally hit shelves in the US, mainland Europe and Japan this September. Press for 'Amour' describes it as "blissed out ambience through to deep house, minimal house and everything in between". The album includes a number of vocal collaborations and is the follow up to Jimpster's 'Messages From The Hub' (1999) and 'Domestic Science' (2002). Like Ben Watt's Buzzin' Fly stable, in the last six months Odell's Freerange Records has had a string of strong releases bridging the gap between deep and tech house. No surprise then that Watt has piled on the praise for Odell, describing him as a "future soul kingpin and bittersweet house don". Jimpster 'Amour' Tracklist 1. In An Analogue Way 2.
