  • NuBreed are evolving away from breaks towards electrohouse. Is it all part of their plan for world domination? NuBreed talks to RA. True to their name, three-man production/DJ outfit NuBreed – Danny Bonnici, Jase Catherine and Mike Walburgh – have consistently evolved their style since their debut artist album ‘The Original’ three years ago. Between then and now, they’ve remixed The Crystal Method, popped up on Oakenfold’s ‘Creamfields’, and made appearances on Ministry of Sound and Renaissance comps. Last January they contributed headphone-ready melancholic breaks to Distinct’ive Records’ ‘Y4K’ canon, which they dropped in favor of sweaty, glitchy electrohouse on September’s “Electric 02” compilation. Big support, big labels – so why aren’t NuBreed huge yet?
