To celebrate Mobilee's new 'Back to Back' compilation and European tour, RA is giving you the chance to win 'Back to Back' on CD plus four remix 12"s.
Mobilee Records was born in 2005, quickly establishing itself as one of the cutest babies in Berlin’s electronic music incubator. The proud parents are DJs Anja Schneider and Ralf Kollman, who signed up the likes of Pan-Pot, Sebo K, GummiHz and Exercise One to the project, alongside remixes and one-off contributions from artists such as Daniel Stefanik, Magda and Jennifer Cardini. The result is a label which brings warmth and melody to minimal Berlin, and increasingly, bodies to the dancefloor. Heck, Schneider even played the main column at the Love Parade this year.
Hot off the presses is the label's first CD compilation 'Back to Back'. The 2CD set features one disc of Mobilee tracks mixed by Schneider plus a second disc of eight new remixes of Mobilee cuts done by Mobilee artists. The four pairs of rerubs, aka ‘Back to Back Remixes Vol. 1 – 4’ are also being released on vinyl. You can get your hands on the lot by entering our ‘Back to Back’ competition below.
To celebrate the releases, Mobilee Records are hitting up the clubs in mainland Europe from now until February 2007. The tour includes dates in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Germany, as well as a special Mobilee All Stars party at the Watergate in Berlin on January 27, 2007 where all of its main artists will play. Need a better excuse to hit up Berlin?
