Remix machine Radio Slave emerges bleary-eyed from the studio for a five-date tour Down Under in February.
Matt Edwards, aka Radio Slave, Quiet Village Project and Rekid, has become one of dance music's most prolific producers over the last twelve months. In 2006 he released well over twenty remixes, including RA favourite 'Deer in the Headlights', and his first original 12" as Radio Slave 'My Bleep' was so hot, it was pressed twice. Yet just because he's touring, doesn't mean he's not releasing: it looks like there are plenty more rekids on the way with a new remix of Trentemoller's 'Moan' the latest to pop up on the Rekid MySpace page.
As a DJ, Mr. Slave spins everything from Chicago house to nu-disco and of course his many productions. Check out his mix CD 'Creatures of the Night' for a taste of what to expect – a bit of Corey Hart?
