Wighnomy Brothers rerub Underworld, Royksopp, Depeche Mode and Nitzer Ebb on their new remix compilation. ‘Remikks Potpourri II’ arrives later this month.
The Wighnomys describe their music as “raving with reason”, and with good reason too. As producers they’re especially known for their remix work, and the latest collection compiles their amped to the max techno take on artists as diverse as Depeche Mode and The Future Sound of London. Nine of the cuts have been released on 12” before, but there are two new tracks: a Robag Wruhme rerub of Nitzer Ebb’s ‘I Thought’ and the cut ‘Bakkenvesper’, which is not a remix, but what the hell.
