  • M.A.N.D.Y, Guy Gerber and Bonde Do Role headline the new two-day Skol Beats Festival in Sao Paolo next month. This year Skol Beats, Brazil's biggest electronic music festival, steps up to a two-day programme with thirty hours of electrohouse, techno, trance, house, drum'n'bass and baile funk spread across three stages. Over sixty thousand are expected to turn out out for live performances from DJ sets from MSTRKRFT, Simian Mobile Disco, Miss Kittin, Laurent Garnier, M.A.N.D.Y, Q-Bert, D Ramirez, David Guetta, Sander van Doorn and 2020 Soundsystem as well as live sets from Donnacha Costello and Guy Gerber. Rated homegrown talents include baile funk collective Bonde Do Role, Kompakt's-man-in-Brazil Gui Boratto, Anderson Noise and Renato Cohen. As in previous years, DJ Marky will host a stage featuring both local and international drum'n'bass acts such as DJ Patife, Friction, Andy, Fabio and Grooverider with Marky and Laurent Garnier also scheduled to perform a back-to-back set.
