  • Lindstrom airs out the dustier shelves of his collection on the latest edition of Azuli's 'LateNightTales' series. The single CD arrives in stores in July. Hans-Peter Lindstrom is best known for the cosmic disco smash 'I Feel Space' and his energetic DJ/live laptop jams with Prins Thomas, but he actually grew up on a diet of country, gospel and even metal, spending his formative years as a musician gigging in bands with scruffy hair. (Read more about Lindstrom in the recent RA interview). He must have held onto a lot of those old records because his home-listening comp for Azuli’s long-running 'LateNightTales' series goes way back – finding space for Carly Simon, George Duke, Dusty Springfield and seventies rocker Todd Rundgren amid more recent offerings. The unmixed CD also include an exclusive Lindstrom cover of Vangelis' 'Let It Happen' as well as a new track from Todd Terje and Prins Thomas 'Regnbågan.' Beanbag friendly stuff. Tracklist 1. Alf Emil Eik - To You 2. Fern Kinney - Baby Let Me Kiss You 3. Gina X Performance - Kaddish 4. Sly & The Family Stone - In Time (Album Version) (Clean Version) 5. Carly Simon - Why 6. Todd Rundgren - Born To Synthesize 7. George Duke - North Beach 8. Dominique Leone - Conversations 9. Anja Garbarek - I Wont Hurt You 10. Rainer Bloss - Pan Americana 11. Terje & Thomas - Regnbågan 12. Jean-Philippe Goude - Energie 13. Smash Band - Grand Drums 14. Farah - Law Of Life 15. Lindstrom - Let It Happen (exclusive Vangelis Cover Version) 16. Dusty Springfield - Baby Blue 17. Pekka Pohjola - Pressure 18. The Lovin' Spoonful - Coconut Grove 'LateNightTales' mixed by Lindstrom is released on Azuli on July 9, 2007.
