Transatlantic techno duo Christian Smith and John Selway team up for their debut longplayer 'The Coming Storm' this month.
Smith, originally from Sweden but now based in Barcelona, met Selway at a D.C. rave in the early nineties while studying in New York. The pair started collaborating in the studio in 1998, quickly carving out a name as makers of solid four to the floor techno. They've since put out over thirty singles and even - shock horror! - retooled stadium rockers Queen. None of that carry on due on 'The Coming Storm' though: Smith & Selway's debut LP promises to focus squarely on big room electronics, with recent singles 'Transit Time' and 'Silver Bullet' proudly front and centre.
