Ben Watt’s Buzzin' Fly label celebrates five years with a triple CD pack 5 Golden Years in the Wilderness.
Watt's label started out as a deep house label but over the years it's evolved to embrace electro-pop, deep techno, and even progressive. It's even spawned an indie offshoot Strange Feelin'. Yep, Watt is a diehard Tim Buckley fan.
5 Golden Years in the Wilderness is billed as both a retrospective and a peek into the future sound of the label. Disc one includes ten of the label's biggest sellers such as Ben Watt's 'Lone Cat', Darkmountaingroup's 'Lose Control', Ame's rethink of Rodamaal's 'Insomnia' and Charles Webster's classic remix of Justin Martin's 'The Sad Piano'. Second disc includes ten tracks more representative of the deeper leanings of the label from the likes of Jimpster, Rocco, Lephtee and Kayot while a third disc includes cuts from future BF heroes Stimming, Gavin Herlihy and BarBQ.
