Rekids’ producer Toby Tobias will release his debut album Space Shuffle in June.
It’s been hard to pin down Toby Tobias over the course of his three 12-inches for Rekids—and fans will get another curveball from the varied producer when his debut album emerges this summer: the album will feature versions of each single, as well as a host of new material.
No details have emerged yet as far as those new productions—aside from the Kathy Diamond collaboration ‘The Feeling’—but if label head Matt Edwards’ recent comments to RA about Rekids becoming a Warp-like imprint are any indication, it promises to be a record just as ready for the home listener as it is for the dancefloor-inclined.
