  • New Northern night Krucht & Flucht kicks off this Friday at Mint with a three-pronged attack of techno, minimal and electronica. Krucht & Flucht takes its name from Dominik Eulberg's Kreucht & Fleucht compilation, but the promoters sensibly decided to pass on the 'e's. Their joke, not ours. (“Kreucht & fleucht” means “creeping and flying” in German). Headlining the opener is a DJ set from Swedish techno aristocrat Joel Mull, known for his boshing workouts on Adam Beyer's Drumcode label as well as more recent softer excursions on Cocoon and Audiomatique. Madrid's Damian Schwartz flaunts his live set of squiggly funk and jazz-inspired live minimal with dark horse of experimental electronica Thomas Brinkmann, er, flying in from Cologne.
