  • Techno-Dubstep hybrid producer Andy Stott has announced the release of his next long player through Modern Love; Unknown Exception: Selected Tracks Vol.1 (2004 - 2008). It's been a steady rise for Andy Stott since his debut for Modern Love back in 2005. The British artist has found favour in equal measure from both piers and fans in techno & dubstep communities. His ability to span the techno-dubstep divide between production and DJing performance, much along the lines of Martyn & Peverelist, has ensured his continuing success. Labeled a "master of the 12-inch" in his Bad Landing debut album review on RA, Stott ‘s latest LP showcases new material alongside his most successful vinyl releases, remastered by Dubplates & Mastering in Berlin. Padded percussion and dub techno roll through each track, including ‘Hostile’, vinyl copies of which sold out in 24 hours when first released. Tracklist 01. Fear of heights 02. Bad landing 03. Handle with care 04. Long drive 05. Credit 06. Massacre 07. See in me 08. Made your point 09. She’gone wrong 10. Fine metallic dollar 11. Hostile 12. Replace Unknown exception: Selected tracks vol.1 (2004 - 2008) will be released through Modern Love on September 1st, 2008.
