San Francisco cosmic enthusiast Hatchback will release his debut album in September.
The dulcet sound of easy listening will be ringing from the hills (or your stereo) this fall, as Hatchback, AKA Sam Grawe, is set to put his debut record out on Lo Recordings. The producer, who is perhaps known for having his "White Diamond" single rejiggered by Prins Thomas into an epic downtempo masterpiece, will continue on his path of shorter, less disco-fied tunes. The album will contain all of Grawe's productions from his previous two singles, as well as six new songs. All of them, as you might expect, contain the sort of sublime synthesizers that float slowly along, propelled by their own intuition.
