  • Defected will celebrate their 10th anniversary in style this Saturday, taking over London's Ministry Of Sound club for the first date in their world tour. The evening starts in a manner similar to the imprint's 100th release party back in 2005: They'll be wheeling out a 5-piece band to perform live versions of some of their biggest hits alongside the original vocalists. Julie McKnight will take to the stage to sing both Kings Of Tomorrow's "Finally" and Louie Vega's "Diamond Life," and she'll be joined by Steve Edwards, Imani and Shovell, who will all sing their respective vocal contributions to the label. It'll be a rare chance to see the tracks played live, so Defected fans should head down for the 10 PM start if they want to check it out. The main club night starts an hour later, and Defected have put together one of their biggest line-ups since their party at Miami's WMC last year. Bob Sinclar and The Shapeshifters, ATFC and label head Simon Dunmore will play in the Box, while the Bar will be propped up by DJ Spen and Copyright amongst others. If you like your house music with smatterings of vocals and a pinch of glam, then MOS will be the place to be come this Saturday.
