In the tradition of labelmates Booka Shade, Lopazz is set to release an album of chillout material next month.
Unlike the duo, though, Lopazz's collection is not of previously released material: Unless you've the seen the many films that Stefan Eichinger and Casio Casino, AKA Steffen Neuert, has soundtracked over the past decade for Along Mekong Productions that is. The duo have worked for the company and traveled the world, working in and on location in Ecuador, China, Brazil, Lebanon, Mongolia and Uzbekistan among other locales to compose more than 45 soundtracks for the company.
The result, Ambient Film Themes Vol. 1 is a collection of their finest work together and will be released exclusively through iTunes, ala Booka Shade's 2008 album, Cinematic Shades.
