- Josh Wink's label will host a pre-Sónar event at Boulevard Culture Club on the Wednesday night.
- Josh Wink will be bringing his Ovum label to Barcelona this year for a party at Boulevard Culture Club. Wink has opted for a Wednesday night Sónar pre-party to strut his stuff, and will play at the same venue as RA's own off-Sónar event on the Saturday night. Its central location should do well to draw crowds looking for a bit of raving action before the festival kicks off properly, with Wink being joined by Italian and French techno stalwarts Davide Squillace and D'Julz in the main room. Whilst techno, tribal and acid-inflected tracks will be the musical staple in room one, Fabric resident Terry Francis will be leading the tech-house charge in the second room, with King Roc and Riva Starr backing him up with their respective melodic and electro-tinged styles. It's an ideal warm up party for Sónar attendees on a budget, as free entry can be gained up until 1:30am if you're a man, or 2:30am if you're of the fairer sex.
