  • British DJ/producer Fatboy Slim is set to play the stadium-sized Terminal 5 in New York City this Wednesday evening. As the creator and star behind the three Brighton-based Big Beach Boutique bashes of the early '00s in addition to headlining slots at countless other monstrous parties across the globe, Cook is no stranger to the concept of the gargantuan gig. Although the 3000 capacity Terminal Hall venue will not be a scratch on some of the parties of old (the second of the BBB shows was attended by a whopping 250,000 people) the gig is still proof of an enduring popularity for an artist that hasn't released a solo album since 2004's Palookaville. Cook is Stateside promoting his Brighton Port Authority project alongside Iggy Pop and appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night and will do Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this evening before slipping back into his Fatboy guise for Terminal Hall.
