Rozzo will help blow out the candles at three parties this weekend with the Glasgow institution.
Glasgow's underground institution, Sunday Circus, reaches its second birthday this weekend, and they'll be celebrating with three parties with special guest Rozzo, the co-founder of Switzerland's minimal/deep house imprint Mountain People.
Sunday Circus, the monthly afternoon-to-evening event, has become the stuff of local legend since its beginnings at Glasgow's Courtyard Bar. Serving up a blend of deep house and techno and drawing inspiration from Circo Loco and London's secretsundaze, the party initially aimed to "provide a great party with friends, listening to the music we love whether it brought in 50 people or 150 people" at the outdoor, two-level venue.
Word has quickly spread about the shindig, though, and Sunday Circus events now regularly sell-out in advance, and attract big hitters such as Argy, Burnski, Jamie Jones and Matthias Tanzmann.
This weekend's proceedings open at Glasgow's Arches Cafe Bar on Saturday evening (11-3am), with Rozzo joining residents Affi and Ronnie before taking over the Courtyard from 3 PM Sunday. And those with the stamina may wish to join the Sunday Circus collective at the weekend's final party being held in Stereo from 11pm.
