Underworld stream live to iPhone

- Seminal UK dance act Underworld have announced details of a mini North American tour of which the Oakland leg will be streamed directly to iPhones across the world. Do you find attending gigs a pain in the ass? We don't, but for those who do-or simply fancy checking out some live gig footage-Underworld are set to make their upcoming performance at Oakland's Fox Theater available to view directly from an iPhone. This is apparently the first time customers of the popular Apple product have enjoyed such a service, although even if you're not a convert, the footage will be available via underworldlive.com as well. Further to the announcement is the news that the band have lined up a North American tour which will take in three US dates before the pair head north of the border for two Canadian shows. The apex of the tour looks to be on August 7th as the band headline Hardfest at LA's Forum venue with Chromeo, Crookers, Crystal Castles and A-Trak also bringing the noise.
