  • London's Süd Electronic crew are set to celebrate nine years of operations on Saturday 3rd October. Started by Lerato Khathi (Lakuti) and Alan Abrahams (Portable), the collective have been dedicated to showcasing the best in underground electronic music in the capital since their inception, before branching out to become a record label and booking agency. Their aim has always been to put on low-capacity underground parties with a focus on the music, but they'll be moving to a venue double the size of their usual BG's Nite Club haunt for this special occasion. The location is secret for the moment, but will be revealed to ticket holders closer to the date. Manning the decks on the night will be two residents from Berlin's much-lauded Panorama Bar, and they'll be showcasing the housier side of what goes on in the club's hallowed walls. Hard Wax house buyer Prosumer will take top spot on the bill, while his good friend and sometime collaborator Tama Sumo will precede the release of her Panorama 02 compilation with a supporting set. Expect plenty of deep, grooving house tracks from the past two decades to be played throughout the night; a style which should be continued by Lakuti when she hits the decks. Advance tickets are now available to purchase directly through RA Tickets.
