  • Moritz Von Oswald Trio are set to mark the release of their Vertical Ascent LP with a show at Berlin's Berghain next week. "An utterly compelling and complex release," was how RA scribe William Rauscher described Vertical Ascent back in June. The album, produced in tandem by Max Loderbauer, Moritz von Oswald and Vladislav Delay was the summation of years worth of live performances, and resulted in a four "pattern" composition that did not disappoint expectant fans. For those unaware, or who didn't manage to catch one of the trio's handful of live shows this year, the group lines up with Delay on drum/percussion duties, Loderbauer wiring patches on a custom built modular synth and Von Oswald on Fender Rhodes and additional percussion. Support on the night arrives from Rechenzentrum's Marc Weiser and Spex's Max Dax.
