  • The Sunday weekly aims to showcase the obscurities that find their way into an artist's personal music collection.

  • B-Side, a new Sunday afternoon weekly, launches this weekend, playing host to Deepchild, Simon Caldwell and Katalyst. The concept behind B-Side, as the name may suggest, revolves around tracks that wouldn't usually receive play in a regular club environment. Every week, organisers will be inviting various members of Sydney's music scene to come and play the "rare, amazing, weird and wonderful records that inspire their private collections." So, this week, don't expect to hear Deepchild spinning techno or Simon Caldwell playing deep house—expect "the flipside of the obvious." Artists scheduled for the coming weeks include Mark Pritchard, Jamie Lloyd and Peret Mako. Entry is free, and the party will be happening in The Beresford Hotel's beer garden.
