The Mole, Soulphiction and Dubbyman are amongst the names set to play the joint label showcase at Amsterdam's Studio 80 this Friday.
Both labels have shown a deep level of enthusiasm and understanding for house music over the past decade, and they're set to join forces for a one-off party on Friday night. Label owners José Manuel Alvarez (AKA Dubbyman) and Michel Baumann (AKA Jackmate/Soulphiction) will both grace the turntables with their ebbing and flowing deep house beats, with Alvarez also bringing along his sibling and Deep Explorer signee, Above Smoke.
Canadian producer The Mole will be playing one of his much-lauded live sets at the party's pinnacle, no doubt flipping plenty of his sampled disco breaks into relentless house grooves, while Break SL will showcase his woozily melodic take on the genre. Homegrown house talent comes from resident DJs Florian Rath and Matthijs Groos, two Amsterdam-based teenagers who will be pitting their youth against the wide experience of the Philpot and Deep Explorer clans.
