  • Amsterdam's Boom Chicago club has become the latest venue to convert to electronic dance music during this year's ADE. Stroll in on any other night, and you'd find the comedy club running as usual, but that's all set to change starting on Friday 23rd October, as prolific tech-house producer John Dahlbäck will host his John Dahlbäck and Friends bash there that evening. His special guests are all yet to be announced, so if you're looking for a bit more of a sure thing, then you might want to try Marc Romboy's Systematic anniversary the following evening. Celebrating five years of the label's operation, Romboy will be inviting past signings and collaborators Tommie Sunshine, Phonique and Technasia to take to the decks for the extended tech-house session, with sound engineer extraordinaire Robert Babicz set to play one of his live sets. Revellers wanting to check out some of Hollands homegrown talent will just need to nip over to the second room, where local label Field Records will be launching their first two 12-inches. These aren't just any old locals though: Conforce and Sui Generis have already released their melodic techno on the respected Rush Hour imprint, while Delta Funktionen is signed to Delsin sub-label Ann Aimee.
