  • Frankie Knuckles and Danny Krivit have been lined up to play a special session at New York's Pacha on Sunday December 13th. Long-serving New York imprint Nervous Records are the driving force behind the event, having put out mixes by both Knuckles (Motivation Too) and Krivit (718 Sessions) earlier this year. The party is being billed as "A Night Of House Music History," and with over seventy years of DJing experience between them, this in no way sounds like a dubious claim. Although it's not clear exactly how the night will be structured, we are promised the pair will be "playing together," and with no other DJs listed on the bill, a bit of back-to-back action should certainly not be ruled out. In addition, the evening's 6 PM start time and an undoubtedly breezy music policy should be conducive to plenty of cheery pre-festive season vibes.
