  • Fine Art Recordings have released a new limited edition down-tempo focused CD series entitled, Mvsica. The premise of the compilation is to invite established techno talent to produce exclusive down-tempo material, while limiting the run to strictly 200 copies. Comprised of six original productions, Mvsica spans work from Belgian producer Fabrice Lig, veteran Dutch techno practitioner Orlando Voorn—who remixes Jens Loden's "First One"—and !K7's Michael Fakesch who steps out under his new Ichikiwa guise. Also sharing the limelight is Irish producer Lerosa who enjoyed one of his biggest years to date during 2009, popping up on the Uzuri, Apnea and Yore labels. Aside from the music, Fine Art have paid close attention to the packaging of the Mvsica release: The covers of the CD (including the tracklist) are covered with a scratch-off surface, backed on hard laminated paper, and you'll even get your own plastic counter (pictured above) to avoid marking your copy with a dirty coin. Tracklist 01. Fabrice Lig - Cosmic Booty 02. Fabrice Lig - Cosmic Booty (Stevie Kotey remix) 03. Lerosa - Calliope 04. Cusmos - Jazzdub 05. Ichikiwa (aka Michael Fakesch) - Cthree 06. Jens Loden - First One (Orlando Voorn Birds and Bees remix) Mvsica is available now through Fine Art Recordings.
