Seldom Felt venture to Glasgow and Berlin

- The anonymous techno duo will both DJ and play live at two rare club gigs next weekend.
- The mysterious men behind the Seldom Felt project will venture out from their studio next month for a weekend of live performance. After six 12-inches of diverse but hard-hitting warehouse techno from Seldom Felt, we're still none the wiser as to their real identity, but inquisitive minds will be able to catch the pair in action at shows in either Scotland or Germany early next month. Monox's party at Glasgow's Sub Club on Friday 5th February will only be the second time that Seldom Felt have appeared on the club circuit—with their first gig taking place at last May's Erosion bash in Manchester—and they'll be performing a selection of both new and previously released Seldom Felt material as well as taking to the decks to showcase what they can do with other people's music. Sample-happy house producer Cottam will also DJ, while Numbers' member Jackmaster completes the bill. The following evening, Seldom Felt will head to the techno mecca that is Berghain for a similar live/DJ set-up in the main room, where they'll be joined by residents Boris and Norman Nodge. Upstairs in Panorama Bar, Detroit techno originator Juan Atkins will make his debut performance at the club, with Jerome Sydenham, Steffi and Mojuba boss Don Williams also set to lay down their respective housey styles. The Dutch will then pursue a techier direction for their Sunday session, with sets planned from Joris Voorn, Pitto, Deetron and Edwin Oosterwal.
