Orbital to headline Glade 2010

- The Hartnoll brothers have been announced as one of the three headliners for this year's event at Matterley Bowl.
- Orbital will headline this year's Glade Festival, which will take place from July 15-18. The 2008 event saw fans complain about low sound levels on some of the stages, so Glade organisers set about moving the '09 edition of the festival to Hampshire's Matterley Bowl—a space which offers natural sound insulation due to the bowl that the festival lies in. After a successful first year at the site, Glade will again return to Matterley for this year's festival, and they've today revealed the three acts that will take the top spots on the line-up. After returning to the festival circuit last year with a series of live shows, Orbital will provide a nostalgic rave fix full of anthems such as "Chime," "Halcyon" and "Belfast," while Simian Mobile Disco will offer a more modern electro-house show, no doubt full of tracks from last year's Temporary Pleasure. Trip-hop pioneer Tricky is the third and final headliner, and there are rumours that he'll be taking to the stage entirely in the dark for his performance. Speaking about the upcoming line-up announcements, Glade creative director Nick Ladd has made a statement, saying that "there are lots more big guns to come especially as the Glade Festival line-up has been evolving in the past couple of years to embrace more crossover styles and different flavours. This year, we will definitely taking that a step further with lots of surprises in store."
