  • Russian dubstep artist Kontext will release his debut album late next month on Immerse Records. Entitled Dissociate, the album shows Kontext further expanding his atmospheric, broken-beat style. While tracks like "Aeromonarch Attacks" and "Bilinguism" frenetically blur the line between dubstep and techno, others like "Plumes" and "On the Bottom of the Glass" implement found sounds and liquid textures in a way that harks back to artists like Monolake or Basic Channel. The record is Kontext's fifth release for Immerse, a Bristol-based label that has previously released artists like TRG, October, Appleblim and Forsaken. It will be available digitally and as a triple-LP. Tracklist 01. Impossible Being 02. Bilinguism 03. Aeromonarchs Attacks 04. Clinch 05. Hometown Swamp 06. Searching for Transcendental 07. Ocean in the Bathroom 08. Convex Curved Mirror 09. Plumes 10. On the Bottom of the Glass 11. Outroduction Immerse will release Kontext's Dissociate on March 29th, 2010.
