  • Technique and Asylum's second scheduled garden party of the year will be an RA special, featuring three very special headliners. First up is Innervisions co-founder and deep house don Dixon, who—after playing nights in London and Bristol—will make his first '10 appearance in the North for the event. He'll be joined by Motor City luminary Chez Damier, who will jet in from Detroit for a rare UK show. Damier has recently undergone a bit of a resurgence with modern house music fans due to the reissuing of classic tracks such as KMS anthem "The Choice" as well as new material via Berlin's Mojuba imprint. His position as one of the original DJs at the seminal Music Institute club should give you an idea of Damier's position in the hierarchy of Detroit DJs, and you can be sure that he'll have plenty of vintage house music to satisfy both the heads and the dancers. Our third special guest will be revealed at a later date, but there's plenty of hot local talent already lined up, with DJs from Technique, Asylum, Hang The DJ, Mono_cult set to take to the decks. Bristol's Futureboogie crew will even make the trip up from the South West, bringing plenty of house and disco anthems to get the place warmed up. Taking place at the Faversham on Sunday 30th May, the event will be the second of RA's collaborations with the two Leeds-based crews, following our sold-out bash with Craig Richards, 2000 & One and Simon Baker last year. As with last year, the terrace will again be extended for those wanting to make the most of the outdoor dancing possibilities, and we've been informed that the Faversham's main room has even been refurbished, now boasting a custom-built booth, Funktion One sound and a new layout. All of the early bird allocation has already sold out, but standard tickets are still available to purchase via RA Tickets.
